Recruitment Process

Job Spec

Client will send us their requirements. We will Compile an advertisements that will include the following information:

        • Job title
        • Salary
        • Whether it is contract, part time or permanent
        • What the availability should be
        • Important features of the work
        • Requirements of the successful applicant
        • Fringe benefits
        • Application procedures
        • The person in charge of the applications
        • A brief description of the business

 

Source & Screen – Selection Process

This is the process in which the most suitable person for a vacant position is chosen from among the applicant for the post.

We will work through SACC Database, Applications & Search Engines to find the suitable candidate for the Client.

Interview

Interviews will be arranged with the candidates.

If not based in Gauteng or able to attend the interview a detailed telephonic interview will be done.

Reference

2 References of previous employment will be contacted.

Client Interview

The Short listed candidates will be sent to the client.

We will follow up with client with regards to the CV’s submitted to them.

When a client would like to interview a candidate - we will have an informative session or send additional information to the candidates.

We will confirm the following with the candidates:

        • Which client requires an interview
        • The position you have submitted their CV for
        • The person that he/she has to ask for at reception (contact person)
        • The contact details of the person
        • The exact time and date the interview will take place

Verification

The client might request verification on all or some of the following before they make an offer to the candidate:

  • Criminal Checks
  • License Checks
  • Qualification Checks
  • ITC Checks
  • Etc

SACC can verify all this information.

The candidate would be informed on the checks, an Indemnity Declaration will be prepared for them to sign and this information will be send to the client.

Successful Placement

Confirmation via e-mail or fax on the placement of the specific candidate will always be asked from one of the SACC Consultants, prior to informing the candidate. This document must clearly state the position the candidate will have, the duration of the contract along with the starting date and the salary details (must indicate if the salary includes or excludes agency fees and VAT).

When the SACC Consultant has this document, the candidate will be contacted immediately. It is very important that the candidate is informed on ALL the details.

Should the candidate agree to accept the offer, the SACC Consultant will now draught the acceptance of duty and request his/her signature as soon as possible. Following which the contract will be prepared. (The contract will only be completed by the HR Director and co-signed by the SACC Consultant or any other colleague).

Should the client not wish to appoint anyone, the candidate will be regretted as soon as possible.

Guarantee

We offer a 3 months guarantee on permanent placements. If a candidate is to leave before the three months are over SACC will replace the contractor at no charge to the client. If we are unable to find a suitable replacement candidate SACC will refund the client with the remainder of the three months guaranteed placement fee.
